Caregiving can be associated with physical and psychosocial symptoms including depression, stress, sense of burden, fatigue, feelings of anger, guilt, grief, and loss, frustration, loneliness and isolation. Certain assessments such as the modified caregiver strain questionnaire can be sued to identify caregivers who need more help or assessment. The physical environment of the older adult can be made up of the home and community environment. Hazards can be a potential constraint on older peoples day-to- day functions.
