Depersonalizaion-derealizaion disorder: a dissociaive disorder in which feelings of depersonalizaion are so severe they dominate the client"s life and prevent normal funcioning. Derealizaion: situaion in which the individual loses his or her sense of the reality of the external world. Dissociaive amnesia: a dissociaive disorder featuring the inability to recall personal informaion, usually of a stressful or traumaic nature. Dissociaive disorders: disorders in which individuals feel detached from themselves of their surroundings, and reality, experience, and idenity may disintegrate. Dissociaive fugue: a dissociaive disorder featuring sudden, unexpected travel away from home, along with an inability to recall the past, someimes with assumpion of a new idenity.
