Intergenerational collaboration involves working with a various kinds of diversity found in the workplace such as gender, age, race, ethnicity, disabilities, sexual orientation, religion, nationality and personality. There are often conflicts that occur between younger and older generation which gives rise to disrespect, taunting, criticisms, and being unsupportive. As a result, creating a safe working environment can help enhance workplace management, continuing education and mentorship in the passing of knowledge and skills in order to help with growth and development in professional development.
