Teen parents: teen parents are those who have children udner the age of 20 and most are single parents (80%). The u. s has the highest rates of teen mothers than any other industrialized country. It is mainly because they do not use birth control as effective as teens in western europe: research suggests that young age does not account for the stresses their children experience. In the experiment they found that children of teen mothers generally score similar on cognitive tests than children whose mother was not a teenager.
