Learning is any relatively durable change in behaviour or knowledge that is due to. Conditioning and drug effects: drug tolerance involved a gradual decline in responsiveness to a drug with repeated use, compensatory crs compensate drug effect. Acquisition: forming new responses: acquisition refers to the initial stage of learning something, stimuli are contiguous if they if they occur together in time and space. Higher-order conditioning: higher-order conditioning is when a conditioned stimulus functions as if it were an unconditioned stimulus. Cognition and classical conditioning: cognition was absent, but not everyone thinks it did not play a role, a good signal is one that allows accurate prediction of the ucs.
