During adolescence, increase to peer influence and decrease to parental influence. 1st grade peer rejection lead to antisocial behavior in 4th grade. 50 percent chance of antisocial behavior later in adolescence. 9 percent for those who avoid early peer rejection. Cascade effect -conduct disorder lead to peer rejection.
