Ideology (or ethos): mental characteristics of a people and the way in which the relate to their environment and social groups/ Set of meanings that tend to justify an unjust status quo ideology implicit assumed beliefs. Ethos: set of moral and aesthetic principles. Values: general ideas about good and bad goals.
