Lo 2 identify the characteristics that distinguish service operations from goods production and explain the main differences in the service focus. Service workers need human relations skills: services can be intangible and unstorable. If service not used when avail, usually wasted unstorable: customer"s presence in the operations process. Can affect operations process in terms of time/place/form.
