Heraclitus and parmenides are the central figures in the presocratic world. Foundation of western thought is accomplished through them. Originally revealed the depth of our world. Can be said that it"s through them that we think because of what they revealed of the world. Ancients categorized him with plato and aristotle - their words were understood by the common people. Fragments of parmenides are the most important and coherent of the world before. Can oppose heraclitus and parmenides regarding the origin of thought. Heraclitus is the philosopher of universal movement. Parmenides claimed the radical immobility of being. The irreconcilable adversity concerning the movement of being would constitute the dawn of philosophy. We cannot search for something between the viability of being and the non- viability of non-being.
