Prioritize : use maslow"s hierarchy of needs to prioritize goals and objectives ( focus on physiologic survival needs, safety and security needs, love and belonging, self esteem needs, self actualization ) Identify outcomes : they should be client centered (the client will ) and described in specific measurable terms each treatment outcome specifies the action of behavoiur that the client will demonstrate once the health problem is resolved. Implementation: make interventions and evaluate corresponding client responses giving care and using communication skills to delegate care ( indirect care) and communicate support to clients and families providing the necessary education regarding the progress of the pt. Evaluation:nurse and client mutually examine client progress or lack of progress toward anticipated treatment outcomes and receive feedback from client contrasting actual progress with expected outcomes. Kataoka-yahiro and saylor (1994) developed a model of critical thinking for nursing judgement based in part on previous work.
