Advantages: applications are only installed on the virtual server, applications can be managed centrally through app v management console, applications can be used to standardize client support, application updates are made on virtual application server, one client can run same application multiple times, application that can"t run on ts can be run on virtual applications, clients can run more than one application that would normally conflict with each other.
