Says she practically raised him along with his mother, salvia. She pulls him aside and tell him she is nervous for him. Milo"s wife, pamphile, is a notorious witch. Falls in love with young men and uses her arts and transforms them into creatures. Specialist in all forms of necromancy that she forces to stay with her. Lucius is mildly excited by this thought but tells himself not to be stupid. Tells him to come to her room later. Pamphile later looks at a lamp and says a storm is coming. Lucius tells a story of a philosopher - diophanes. Milo also knows him and tells his own story of him. Lucius is annoyed and wants to get away.
