When all signatures are separated, each bin contains a block with consecutive signatures. Feeder principles in gathering machines: pincer gripper and gripper drum: design elements shared by both are: Pile support for sheets remaining in the magazine. Conveyor chain with pushers: design disadvantage: sheet acceleration changes.
