Inhibits ovulation; thins endometrium to help prevent implantation; thickens cervical mucus to trap sperm. One patch applied every week for 3 wks, 1 wk break. Inserted + placed at cervix for 3 wks, 1 wk break. Menstrual cycle regulation, reduced menstrual flow, decreased acne, reduced symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome, decreased risk of endometrial and ovarian cancer.
