Effects of cissexual assumption: misrecognition, erasure and inadvertent closeting, silencing, the (cid:396)e(cid:395)ui(cid:396)e(cid:373)e(cid:374)t to (cid:858)(cid:272)o(cid:373)e out(cid:859) (cid:272)o(cid:374)sta(cid:374)tl(cid:455, undetermined sense of self. 3: to assume is to act in a particular way, not simply to neglect to act.
