Others said he was a deaf mute. One young doctor jean marc itard suggested the (cid:271)o(cid:455)"s stra(cid:374)ge(cid:374)ess (cid:373)ight (cid:271)e fro(cid:373) extreme isolation. Itard took over this boy and named him victor and conducted initial assessment of his capabilities. Next itard tried teaching victor basic skills. Recorded in his journal that the boy was disgustingly dirty effected with spasmodic movements. Itard lead to lots of fame but little success with victor. The boy was moving back and forth like an animal in the zoo. Scratched those who took care of him. After a few years of teaching him how to write and read he gave up. Wrote a journal about what he did with victor and called it a total fail. Victor failed to develop emotion and speech.
