Scientists presented fictionous stories about an assassination of a leader: one story the person dies~people associate it with a conspiracy theory, one story the person doesn"t die~people associate an attempt at assassination. Our preference with faces may be due to: our experiences. Not necessarily the average of a face is what we find attractive; there may be other factors. Focuses on the features of a face. Fatcher effect: 2 faces inverted~ looks the same, the same 2 faces placed upright~ can identify the differences.
