Intelligence is the cognitive ability of an individual to learn from experience, reason well, remember important information, and cope with the demands of daily living. Intelligence involves the ability to perform cognitive tasks and the capacity to learn from experiences and adapt. We use two forms of reasoning to solve problems. Everyday the drive to school takes 30 minutes and i arrive on time for my first class. Inductive reasoning works the opposite way, moving from specific facts and observations to broader generalizations and theories. (ex: today i left for school at 8am and i arrived on time for my first. Therefore, every day that i leave the house at 8am i will arrive to school on time for my first class. Deductive and inductive reasoning guide the scientific method. Deductive and inductive reasoning are at the heart of the scientific method.
