Many provide direct measures of intensity and duration and indirect mearues of energy expenditure. More expensive to purchase and maintain, can be complex, don"t provide all info (mode/freq) Observation direct (viewing live) or indirect (viewing recording) allows for documentation of specific activities, eliminates memory recall issue and self-report bias time costs, potential for change in behaviour due to observation, subjectivity. Cv training: moderately intense activity 30 min/day, 5 days / week or vigorously intense activity 20 min/ day, 3 days /week. Resistance training: 2-4 sets of 8-12 reps per exercise, 2x /week.
