Mass concept explaining the resistance that objects have to change in their motion inertia: reluctance of a body to change in motion. Mass is a measure of the amount of matter in a body unit of mass: kg, tonne = 1000 kg. Time physical dimesniton that orders the sequence of events in the universe event = a particular instant in time. 2. 2 force force: an influence that one body has upon another; push or pull. 3 types of forces: gravitational (weak), electromagnetic (intermediate), 2 types of nuclear (one weak one strong) Gravitational force is only of significance between earth and bodies in its vicinity. Unit of force: newton (n); 1 newton = 1 n = 1 kg m/s 2. Right-hand rule if one axis is oriented up and another axis is pointed horizontally in the forward direction, movements to the right, up and forward are defined as positive.
