Three fundamental components of the general managers job. Many corporate tragedies are rooted in the fact that senior managers had a false idea of how well their organization was performing. The danger that many senior management teams face is that they think they know where the business stands in terms of organizational health, when often, they do not. Negative feedback to upper-level managers may be implicitly or explicitly discourage. Middle managers may choose to filter out information before it.
