For 9 days he shot arrows on the 10th achilles called troops into an assembly. Apollo heard his prayers and went with anger and shot arrows away from the ships. Achilles hopes that apollo will not kill them. Prophet spoke to them: tells achilles, swear to me that you will help me with words or with strength. Achilles tells him he will protect him, not even a whole army of danaans. The god is angry with the priest who agamemnon dishonoured and didn"t release his daughter. Far-shooting god will not drive plague away until girl is given back to dad.
