Aeneid 4: the tragedy of aeneas and dido. Dido is becoming more and more lustful for aeneas. After hearing his story, she could not stop thinking about his courageous acts and noble qualities. Anna"s words comfort dido and further stir up her lust. Dido flaunts her wealth and city to aeneas. Juno confronts venus: says that she is aware that the dido"s reasoning for loving aeneas is based on. The next day, dido made her appearance coming out of the gates: dressed in a robe, accompanied by her new trojan friends, aeneas joins her. It begins to rain; the weather forced everyone to disperse throughout the fields and look for shelter. Dido and aeneas find refuge in the same cave: juno immediately marries them, that day was the first cause of death, the first cause of evils . Goddess makes her way to king iarbas: he was driven so wild by this rumour he does not know what to do.
