Nerves are an amazing thing; they help shape and mold our characters, turn failure into success, and drive our decisions. However, it is truly the way in which we can control these nerves that will determine our future success. One way to do this is to establish a sense of comfort and security, which the colleagues at my placement have helped to manage by making me feel welcome and accepted. During the interview process, as i was looking around for my supervisor and getting all tense and uptight, one of the pharmacists, named. Then, once my first day of work arrived, i walked into the pharmacy at shoppers drug mart and saw no familiar faces. However, at the back of the pharmacy was one of the pharmacists who i hadn"t yet seen before, and because i was unaware of this individual"s acquaintance the nerves and tension started to ensue.
