Document Summary

Humanity has a short history but a long past. Writer history of humanity = seven million years. Non-written history of humanity = sixty million years. Nomadic life style of european ancestors was dictated mainly by the natural conditions and environment, ex: climate, lack of certain plant/animal. With climate stabilization these ancient humans eventually had a chance to stay in permanent settlements to start early civilization (latin civis = townsman) Anthropologists divided human history + history in to 3 parts, according to the main material used to produce tools + weapons: stone age long lasting and was divided into 3 periods. Neolithic: bronze age, iron age, * silicon age unofficial name for 20-21 century (predominance of computer tech) As the climate grew milder, early european tribes settled down around the vistula river. Neolithic ppl began to domesticate some animals and develop agricultural techniques. This change caused a transition from hunting-gathering to farming-pasturing and agriculture life-style.
