Extroverts: are more likely to be more reward sensitive than introverts, reward sensitivity is what makes an extrovert an extrovert. Extroverts are characterized by their tendency to seek rewards. Extroverts tend to have greater economic, political, and hedonistic ambitions than introverts. Extroverts socialize because human connection is inherently gratifying (a reward in itself: positive emotion is the cause for this reward seeking behavior. Extroverts tend to experience more pleasure and excitement than introverts do. This positive emotion comes from the pursuit or capture of a resource that is valued. Extroverts often find themselves is a state of buzz a rush of enthusiastic and energized feelings. Introverts also experience this buzz, but not to the same degree or frequency. Buzz is also connected to risk and can cause one to ignore warning signs: extroverts can be blind to danger.
