Fewer educational opportunities/lower literacy rates lower income, health, political participation increased gender gap (gender parity index) Gender inequality index: compares women and men in terms of political and economic empowerment, participation in the workforce, and measures of health. Even in egalitarian societies women tend to be less likely to be in workforce and earn equal amounts to men. Improved opportunities and employment for women: lower education and more stigmatization women caught in lower sector of society (or forced introduction into dirty labor i. e. prostitution) Lower female discrimination if: higher degree of female education opportunities, or for women coming from higher class-sectors/better economic situations.
