Richness of the ways in which the bible has been read and appropriated. Inspiration for many important things through the cultures, such as arts, monuments, literature . It has also inspired for bad actions and savagery. Inspired men and women to acts of courage and fight for liberation. It has been at the root of the great revivals of christianity, most recently in asia and africa. Source of religious and moral norms which have enabled communities to hold together and care for. However, this sense of belonging is the reason for many ethnical and racial conflicts. It has been source of good things and bad things at the same time. It has never been read in an uniform manner. Texts have no control over the way they are read. Different people will read the bible in different ways in different condition. The diversity of readers is not the only reason.
