Low fibre, easily digested recommended in patients with narrowing in gi tract due to disease conditions. Includes white bread, pasta (high cho) foods to provide sufficient nutrients for absorption: explain the common causes, nursing management & collaborative care for alteration in nutritional intake & nausea & vomiting (n&v). slide 8,9. Intense pain: motion sickness, early pregnancy, exposure to chemical toxins, emotional stress, gallbladder disease, food poisoning, viruses, anesthesia, medications, bowel obstruction, certain smells & odours.
