An important aspect of io is compromising both scientific research and professional practice (cid:498)scientist-practioners perspective(cid:499) Io psychologists are well versed in stats and research methods. Io psychologists play a dual role as a scientist and a practioner, but some may lean to one side more than the other (for example, researchers and teachers typically lean toward the scientific side more) Csiop has published guidelines for training psychologists. This is a young field of psychology and the major developments have all happened beginning in the 1900s. Io psychology came to be naturally as the world evolved. The major influences were economic, social and psychological.
