Constitutional law-which is the supreme law of canada-is charged with ascertaining and enforcing limits on the exercise of power by the branches of government. It is also charges with upholding the values of the nation. These values are tied to the political philosophy known as liberalism (which has individual freedom as its key value). A related aspect is that any interference of freedom what you can display in a store for example must be justified according to the principles of constitutional law. Can be found in a variety of places. It is nonspecific and can more easily grow to resolve questions or issues related to the government.
