Including different people, organizations, equipment, materials, and facilities: specific timeframe/finite life span, unique/one-time endeavor, has a sponsor/customer. Can be a person, organization, or partnership. Customer may include other stakeholders: has a degree of uncertainty. Plan is prepared on certain assumptions and estimates. Regularly scheduled meeting, progress reports, phone discussions: pm needs to build relationships with various stakeholders. Important to develop a plan before starting the project work: good planning and communication are essential to prevent problems from occurring or minimize their impact.
