Mcdonald"s: minimum wage staff, teenagers, lots of rules, complex bureaucracy, sufficient staff, attractive, clean. Dmv: well paid staff, h. s. graduate adults, lots of rules, complex bureaucracy, understaffed, poor facilities. There are some major differences in how the organizations operate, because one is public, the other private. Differences, according to wilson: retention of the benefits of earnings, control over the factors of production, control over the organization"s goals. Some other important differences as well: standards of evaluation, consequences for poor performance, lack of market discipline in public organizations.
