Worries that a fragmented society will become sheep like, people will be stricken with individualism, creeping despotism. -found the truth: communism, points us beyond fragmented identity; once we achieve communism in economic and social structure, we will reunite public and private aspect of our life, to bring the egotistic individual back into the public sphere. -seeking knowledge of human freedom (all of them hobbes marx), understand legitimate political power as what philosophy ought to pursue.
