Merchandising: branded products used to promote a particular movie, popular music group, etc. , or linked to a particular fictional character; the activity of promoting the sale of goods, especially by their presentation in retail outlets. Underwriting: sponsorship for nonprofit broadcast media, nonprofits can"t sell ads. Product placement: products appear in the scene but have no direct reference (traditional product placement). Product integration: product is part of the storyline.
