Office hours: wednesday and friday, 12:00 - 1:00 pm. >earthquakes, volcanism, soil types and formation, surface hydrology, coastal formations and processes, Laboratories: attendance at one two-hour lab per week is required. You must be registered for a lab session that is associated with the mwf 1:25-2:15 lecture, and you must attend the lab for which you are registered. Labs are to be completed during the lab period, and handed in to the teaching assistant at the end of the lab. Teaching assistants will not accept labs turned in at other times. You cannot make up labs, but we will throw out your lowest lab score in computing your final grade. Reading over your lab ahead of time will make it easier for you to complete the lab during the lab period. The instructor will sometimes announce in-class portions of the lab that you should do ahead of time.
