Five major groups of analysis: measurement, distribution of wealth and income across countries, within the us, and across different geographic regions. Institutions and choices: distinction between fundamental and proximate causes. Specifically investigating which is more important to explaining poverty. Income, and more as possible ways to combat poverty, inequality, and discrimination. The most interesting section of this volume looks like it will be the policy section.
