Structuralism: wilhelm wundt(1832-1920), focus on the elements of thoughts, sought to analyze adult mind in terms of the simplest definable components and then to find the way in which these components fit together in complex forms. The method of self-introspection is well used in the structural school. Functionalism: williams james(1842-1910), inspired by darwin and evolution, focus on how conscious is related to behavior instead of the structure of mind.
