A year ago, the entire east coast, including my town, got hit hard by the super storm and left millions with no power. Homes were flooded, trees ended up in living rooms, and many lost their homes. I was incredibly lucky to have just lost power for a week, but, i do think back to a year ago and remember how scary and confusing that time period was. The article i chose was written recently about hurricane sandy and the way people came together as a community to fix damages the storm left behind. The article showcases a few business owners and people who were affected greatly by the hurricane and how they fixed the damages in a year. On the other side, i chose an image that was taken the day after the hurricane struck.
