Your third/final exam is on december 6, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 am (for my 9:30 am class) or on. December 11, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 pm (for my 11:00 am class). Some of the material is found solely in class lecture/discussion, and some of the material is found solely in the book. When i talk to previous students who did poorly on exams, they usually indicate that they did not study in sufficient depth. That is, they understood concepts globally, but could not remember/retain highly specific details. On the day of the exam, please put your backpack/bag in the front of the room. You will only need a pencil or pen; i will provide everything else. The quicker everyone is seated with all materials put away, the quicker we can begin the exam. There could potentially be a question or two on the exam that does not neatly fall into one of these categories.
