i know you need to use the equation for finding the gradiant of aline in part (i), which would be:

(y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
substituing values: (7-3) / (-7-5) = 4/-12 = -1/3

so the gradient is y = -1/3x + c

the higher the number multiplied by x the steeper the gradient,however this is a small number which should give a less steepgradient.

My problem is how to find the 3rd point, part (ii). I know that youhave to use the equation for a straight line, y = -1/3x + c,however, when i find my 3rd point the line is quiet steep which itshouldnt be because every y value should be -1/3 of every xvalue
