technical details over the work itself.

- Where movie used to be moviegoers chance to see the world outside as an
extension of the movie, now becomes the producer’s guideline
- Real life is becoming indistinguishable from the movies, meaning there are less
room for imagination
- In comparison, entertainment industry determines its own language. The performers
decide how they are going to express the plats, whether they produce or reproduce, use
this jargoon or not, they are not restricted by anything.
- That creativity lies not in conforming to the norm but rather embodied by those who used
style as a way of hardening themselves against the chaotic expression of suffering
- cultural industrial maintains power and sameness through style and form. They
claim that the “promise of the work of art to create truth” through a particular
form is already a bit misguided, as all forms are contingent on societal and
cultural norms
