It"s then converted to morphine: a drug is either, lipophilic (happy comfortable in lipid environment, hydrophilic (can"t cross membrane unless specific transporter is present, degree to which drugs is lipophilic or hydrophilic is taking oil/h20 partition coefficient. If drug likes fat it will be in the oil portion. If drug likes water it will be in water portion.
