Note, that we have not necessarily covered everything that was in these sections. If it was not discussed in class, you will not be responsible for it. Also, remember that you are responsible for the material from exam 1 (see exam 1 study guide). Listed below are topics that are of particular importance. This is not an exclusive list of what might be on the test, but outlines the things i consider particularly important. Reaction coordinate diagrams: be able to interpret and draw reaction coordinate diagrams. Be able to determine if a reaction is exergonic or endergonic, whether the equilibrium constant would be greater or less than 1, identify reaction intermediates and transition states, and determine slow step in a multi-step mechanism.
