The total points earned will be divided by 7, and grades will be assigned using the scale below: Attendance at all lectures and recitations is expected. Attendance at examinations is mandatory unless previous arrangements are made with the instructor. If an exam is missed without prior arrangements being made, a grade of zero will be assigned unless the absence is determined by the instructor to be excused.
