Learning process performance skills shows and improvement over a period of time: high error scores at beginning and then better, performance becomes more consistent- less variability- over time, greater persistence in the improvements are made. Performance curces recording levels of performances across practice y axis is the dependent variable for learning x axis is usally time or something similar learning a new skill is typically charazterized by one of four performance curves. Linear increase: proportional performed improvement over time. Psotively accelerated curve: minor development in the beginning and then it shoots up, major improvement is seen later on.
