Alternaive medicine: a group of diverse medical and health care systems, pracices, and products that are not currently considered part of convenional medicine and are used as alternaives to convenional treatment. Ayurveda: a system of medicine that originated in india more than 2,000 years ago; it emphasizes the atainment of health through balance and connecion with all things in the universe. Biofeedback: the process of providing feedback informaion about the status of a biological system to that system. Complementary medicine: a group of diverse medical and health care systems, pracices, and products that are not currently considered part of convenional medicine and are used in addiion to convenional techniques. Electromyograph (emg) biofeedback: feedback that relects acivity of the skeletal muscles.
