Cushing"s syndrome: round or moon face with red cheeks, excessive hair growth in mustache/sideburns/chin. Increase adrenal cortisol production or drug-induced from corticosteroids. Parkinson"s disease: decreased facial mobility blunts expression, mask like face, decreased blinking and characteristic stare, drooling may be present. Inspect for colors, ulcerations, hydration, swelling, lesions. Recurrent and painful vesicular eruptions of lips and surrounding skin. Localized swelling caused by leakage of intravascular fluid into interstitial tissue. Position patient 20 feet away and cover one eye. Second # = distance a normal eye can read the line of letters. The greater the denominator, the worse the eyesight.
