You will take the final exam on tuesday, december 11th, at 8am in our classroom. The exam will be drawn from assignments, classroom notes, and chapters 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. You should also be familiar with all the terms and definitions we have discussed. The main focus for each chapter is provided below. There is a lot to think about in this chapter. I would strongly suggest you review the powerpoint slides and recall which ones we discussed. Atmosphere, fronts, thermal inversion, results of clean air act, Montreal protocol, acid rain, indoor air pollution, the six criteria pollutants. The greenhouse gases with particular attention to carbon dioxide. How climate change affects people, also the question of whether we are responsible for climate change. In the chapter, you will review all the fossil fuels and how they impact the environment. Examine the solutions to the problems caused by fossil fuels. Review how energy ties in to the geopolitical issue.
