Euro american: culture values individualism and materialism, which are less likely as you age. Native americans: honor and value wise elder and older women become important leaders and artists. African americans: culture respects and values the matriarch. Asian americans: value spiritual power that increases as they age. As women grow older, they become less visible in all forms of media, as though they are so repulsive that no one would want to look at them. Older lgbtq community members invisible in their own culture.
